Hugo Abreu (COO) & Renato Abreu (CEO) are born entrepreneurs. Coming from one of the poorest neighborhoods in Rio, the brothers began mining for gold and diamonds. But in the year 2015, everything changed when they started investing in a “new digital gold” they heard about, Bitcoin. They became cryptocurrency enthusiasts and investors. With the success and popularization of “digital gold”, in 2016, they decided to open their first startup, TemBTC, which was one of the first Bitcoin exchanges in Brazil. After the success, TemBTC sold it in early 2019.
